Ukulele Basics application was designed for beginner ukulele players (who just started to follow the legendary "IZ" or the revolutionary Jake Shimabukuro, and need some more resources, songs to learn, jamtracks to play along with, hints and tips in learning strum patterns, easy to play popular songs), and for players of other stringed instruments (e.g.: guitar, banjo, mandolin) who are interested in learning to handle the "UKE".

With the scrolling tabs and the video instructions of our app You can easily learn basic chords, strum patterns, all time favorite folk songs to sing and play, and, after learning the basic four chords, you can join "The Axes of Awesome" boys in playing famous pop-rock hits of the last 40 years!

Video footages with on-screen instructions will guide along with different strum patterns and chord changes. Every new element you learn will be put into practice immediately, and with a handy slider you may choose between practicing the single note melody line while the app backs you up with chords, or you may practice chord strumming while the app plays the melody for you. The last two chapters (Melody Strums, Fingerstyle Ideas) were composed for advanced players.
